Software Development and IT Consulting for Boston
Software Development and IT Consulting for Boston
PS3G serves Boston, MA organizations remotely from Wilmington, DE and an India delivery center: websites, web and mobile apps, .NET, cloud, data.
PS3G is a software development company that serves Boston organizations from its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, with a delivery center in India. We build websites, web applications, mobile apps, .NET systems, cloud migrations, data platforms and AI features, and we provide IT consulting for Boston companies that want a plan before they commit to a build. We do not have a Boston office. Work is delivered remotely, with in-person meetings by arrangement, and that model fits organizations of every size: a Seaport startup with a first version to ship, a Route 128 manufacturer replacing a legacy order system, or a department inside a hospital or university that needs engineers who can work within its security and procurement rules.

How we serve Boston without a local office
Our only office is at 1201 N Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware. We do not keep a desk in Boston or Cambridge, and we do not list a local number that forwards somewhere else. What we offer Boston clients is a US team in your time zone and an India delivery center that works while you sleep. Details of the headquarters are on our Wilmington, Delaware page.
Boston and Wilmington are both on Eastern Time and both on the Northeast Corridor. Amtrak runs from Wilmington station to South Station, and Philadelphia International Airport, about 25 minutes from our office, has frequent flights to Logan. When a kickoff, a discovery workshop or a milestone review is better done face to face, we schedule a day in Boston and make the trip.
Day to day, delivery runs on video calls during Eastern business hours, a shared backlog, a weekly written status note and a demo at the end of each iteration. Architecture, project management and your point of contact stay in the US. The India team picks up build and test work overnight, so an issue you log at the end of a Boston workday is often in progress before your next morning stand-up.
What Boston organizations ask us for
Boston’s economy runs on universities, teaching hospitals, biotech and life sciences, asset management and insurance, and a deep software and robotics sector that stretches from Kendall Square out to Route 128 and I-495. The requests we hear from Boston organizations follow that mix.
- Life sciences and research: data capture tools, sample and inventory tracking, lab and clinical-trial workflow applications, and portals that keep research data governed and auditable.
- Hospitals, practices and health-tech founders: HIPAA-compliant web and mobile apps, EHR integration over HL7 and FHIR, and telehealth features. We build and run our HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform, DocVilla, so those requirements are daily work for us rather than a specialty we read up on.
- Higher education: student, faculty and alumni portals, course and event systems, accessibility remediation, and integrations with campus identity and learning platforms.
- Financial services: client portals for asset managers and advisors, reporting automation, and .NET modernization or cloud migration carried out under audit and compliance constraints.
- Startups and scale-ups: a fixed-scope first version, then a dedicated team that grows with the product and the funding.
- Professional services, nonprofits and manufacturers: websites connected to a CRM, internal tools that replace spreadsheets, and maintenance for systems nobody in-house wants to own.
Organizations that bring work to us from Boston usually want capacity they cannot hire fast enough, a cost structure that blends US and India delivery, or a stack such as .NET and Azure that their in-house team does not keep.
Services for Boston organizations
Every service we offer is available to Boston clients on the same terms as anywhere else. The table maps common requests to the page that explains each.
| You need | What we deliver | Service page |
|---|---|---|
| A new or rebuilt website | Design, build, content migration, accessibility and maintenance after launch, on WordPress or a custom stack, with SEO for the sites we build | Website development |
| A mobile app | Native iOS and Android or cross-platform in React Native or Flutter, with the API behind it and store submission handled | Mobile app development |
| A web application or portal | Customer, partner or internal systems on .NET, Node.js or Java, connected to what you already run | Web application development |
| .NET and cloud work | New builds on current .NET, migration off .NET Framework, and moves to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud | .NET development |
| Data and AI | Pipelines, warehouses and Power BI dashboards; AI assistants, document processing and agents with governance built in | AI development |
| A plan before a build | An assessment, a technology roadmap and a written proposal for the first step | Technology consulting |
| Engineers for your team | Named developers, testers or DevOps engineers working inside your tools on a monthly basis, scaled up or down as needed | IT staffing |
Engagements run as a fixed-scope project, a dedicated team or staff augmentation on a monthly cadence, managed services under a defined SLA, or advisory work such as an assessment, a roadmap or a fractional CTO. A Boston founder usually starts with the first; a department inside a larger organization often needs the second or third.
How we start
The first step is a first conversation. If it makes sense to continue, we run a short assessment: a look at your current systems, a conversation with the people who will use the result, and a written summary of options. Then we send a written proposal with a fixed-scope quote where the work can be defined up front, or a team proposal where it cannot. The engineering is the same for a solo founder and for a division of a large company; only the scope and the engagement model differ.

Frequently asked questions
Does PS3G have an office in Boston?
No. Our headquarters and only office is at 1201 N Market Street, Suite 111, Wilmington, Delaware, and our delivery center is in India. We serve Boston remotely and travel for kickoffs, workshops and reviews by arrangement, usually by train or by air from Philadelphia. We do not use a virtual Boston address or a local forwarding number.
Is PS3G a software development company in Boston or a remote vendor?
We are a remote vendor to Boston, and we say so on this page rather than implying a local presence. The engineering is the same as it would be for a client next door to us in Wilmington: a US project lead, a US architect, and a blended US and India build team. The difference is that most meetings happen over video, with in-person sessions scheduled when they are worth the trip.
What does IT consulting for a Boston company involve?
An assessment of the systems, vendors and risks you have today, a roadmap that sequences what to fix, replace or leave alone, and a written proposal for the first step. For a growing Boston company that may be a technology roadmap; for an IT department, a modernization plan for a legacy application or a cloud migration assessment. You can act on the recommendation with us or without us.
Are you a web development company or an app development company in Boston?
Both, and often for the same client. A Boston organization frequently starts with a website, then asks for the customer portal behind it, then the mobile app that reaches the same users. One team handles web, mobile and the APIs they share, so the pieces are designed together and maintained together after launch.
Can you work with a Boston hospital’s or university’s vendor requirements?
Yes. Larger Boston institutions usually require a vendor security review, work inside their own tooling and access controls, and defined SLAs. Because we operate a HIPAA-regulated platform ourselves, those requests are familiar. Engineers can work under your accounts and standards as a dedicated team, and we can help prepare the documentation your procurement or security office asks for.
