Hire Developers and Dedicated Teams

Hire Developers and Dedicated Teams

Hire developers through PS3G: .NET, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Java, mobile, Flutter, React Native, AI, DevOps and WordPress engineers.

Email hello@ps3g.com

Hire dedicated developers and teams from an engineering firm that vets and manages them, rather than a staffing agency that forwards resumes. PS3G places .NET, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Java, mobile, Flutter, React Native, AI, DevOps and WordPress engineers inside your team as named individuals, or as a dedicated software development team with its own lead. Every engineer is a PS3G employee who has passed a technical screen by our senior engineers, and every engagement is monthly, so you scale up or down with notice. It works for organizations of every size: a founder hiring the first developer for a product, a growing company adding a specialty its team lacks, or a department in a larger organization scaling a program inside its own procurement and security rules.

Hire Developers and Dedicated Teams - PS3G

Hire engineers who are managed, not just placed

When you hire software developers through PS3G, three things come with them. A technical lead on our side who knows the stack and reviews the engineer’s work in the first weeks. An account manager who runs a monthly check-in and handles replacements if someone is not working out. And a bench behind the engineer, so a hard problem in Azure, Kubernetes or a retrieval pipeline gets a second opinion without a change order.

The engineers come from the practices that build our own products and our clients’ systems, which is why the technology pages below talk about typical work, seniority and pitfalls rather than generic promises. If you want the terms and the mechanics, our IT staff augmentation page covers them; this page is the index of who you can hire.

Technologies we staff

Each page describes the work that technology is usually hired for, how we screen candidates for it, and what goes wrong when the screen is skipped.

Back-end and Microsoft stack

  • Hire .NET developers: ASP.NET Core, C#, Blazor, SQL Server and Azure, including .NET Framework migrations.
  • Hire Java developers: Spring Boot services, enterprise integration, messaging and legacy Java upgrades.
  • Hire Node.js developers: Express and NestJS APIs, integrations, real-time features and full-stack work with React.
  • Hire Python developers: Django and FastAPI back ends, data pipelines, automation and AI integrations.

AI and platform

Roles that do not have their own page, such as QA and test automation engineers, data engineers, business analysts and project managers, are covered under IT staffing. If you want to hire full stack developers or hire backend developers without a fixed stack in mind, tell us the product and we will suggest one.

How it works

How hiring works

  1. 1

BriefA first conversation about the stack, the work in the next quarter, who the engineer will report to, the time-zone overlap you need and the duration you expect.

  2. 2

Profiles in daysA short list of engineers who match the brief, each with a summary of what they have built and when they can start.

  3. 3

InterviewsYour team interviews every candidate, with a technical exercise if you want one. You choose; we do not assign people you have not met.

  4. 4

StartAccounts, access, repository walkthroughs and the first tasks, with a PS3G onboarding lead making sure the engineer is productive in the first week.

  5. 5

Monthly scalingAdd engineers when the work grows, reduce when it settles, or convert individuals into a dedicated team. Changes take effect with notice.

Dedicated team vs individual developers vs project

The question underneath every hiring conversation is who manages the work. The table gives the short version; the technology pages give examples for each stack.

Model Who manages the work What you get Best when
Individual developers You. Our engineers join your team and report to your lead. Named engineers, full-time or part-time, billed monthly. You have a technical lead and a process, and need more hands or a specific skill.
Dedicated development team Shared. A PS3G team lead manages delivery; you set priorities and accept the work. A stable team (engineers, QA, lead) working your backlog month after month. You have a roadmap but not the management capacity, or you want a team that stays together.
Fixed-scope project PS3G. We own delivery of a defined scope. A deliverable at a fixed price, with change requests priced separately. The scope is clear and you want to buy an outcome rather than manage people.

Managed services, where we run a system under a defined SLA, and advisory engagements, such as a capacity assessment before you decide between hiring and augmenting, round out the options. Many clients move between them: a project becomes a dedicated team after launch, or one augmented engineer becomes the seed of a team. For the broader comparison with outsourcing, see IT outsourcing. How we start: a first conversation, a short assessment, a written proposal. The proposal lists roles, seniority, location, hours and monthly cost per role; we do not publish hourly rates.

Vetting, management, IP and security

Vetting. Senior PS3G engineers in each practice screen candidates on working code and real scenarios before they join the bench, and the technology pages describe what each screen tests. You then interview them again. Nobody reaches your team on the strength of a resume.

Management. A named technical lead reviews early work, a weekly written report covers work done, hours, blockers and upcoming items, and a monthly check-in with your account manager catches problems early. The end of the first month is a formal checkpoint where either side can call for a change.

IP. The agreement assigns intellectual property in the work to you. Work happens in your repositories, your cloud accounts and your tools from the first day, so nothing lives only on our side and there is nothing to transfer when an engagement ends.

Security. Engineers sign confidentiality terms that flow down from your NDA and follow your security policies: company-managed accounts, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access and, where you require it, your device standards, background screening and training. For regulated work we sign a business associate agreement or your vendor security terms. We build and run our HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform, DocVilla, so those requirements are part of how we already work.

Location. Engineers are based in the United States and at our India delivery center, managed from our headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. When you hire remote developers from our India center, they keep hours that overlap the US working day and attend your stand-ups live. You choose the mix.

Frequently asked questions

What does it mean to hire dedicated developers rather than contractors?

A dedicated developer works only on your engagement, as a PS3G employee, for as long as you need them, with a lead and an account manager behind them. A contractor is typically an individual you find, vet, manage and replace yourself. The dedicated model costs you less management time and carries replacement and continuity commitments in the agreement.

How fast can we hire developers through PS3G?

Profiles usually go out within a few business days of the brief. After your interviews, the start date depends on the engineer’s availability and your onboarding steps. Engineers on our bench can start within days of selection; engineers finishing another engagement are scheduled around its end. The proposal states a start date for each role.

Can we hire remote developers and still have them in our meetings?

Yes. India-based engineers keep a schedule that shares several working hours with US teams every day, attend stand-ups and planning live, and do asynchronous work outside that window. US-based engineers work in your time zone and can be onsite in the Delaware, New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York area when needed.

Can a dedicated development team include QA, DevOps and a project manager?

Yes. A typical dedicated team is a lead, developers in the stacks you need, a QA engineer and, where the work calls for it, a DevOps engineer or a business analyst. You set the shape in the brief and change it with notice. The guide on hiring a dedicated development team above shows common team shapes by project type.

What if we want to hire the engineer permanently later?

Talk to us. Engagements sometimes end with an engineer joining the client, and the agreement sets out how that works rather than leaving it to argument. More often, clients keep the engagement because the bench, the replacements and the management come with it.
