Software Development and IT Consulting for Chicago
Software Development and IT Consulting for Chicago
PS3G serves Chicago, IL organizations remotely from Wilmington, DE and an India delivery center: websites, web and mobile apps, .NET, cloud, data.
PS3G is a software development company that serves Chicago organizations remotely from its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, with a delivery center in India. We build websites, web applications, mobile apps, .NET systems, cloud migrations, data platforms and AI features, and we provide IT consulting for Chicago companies that want an assessment and a roadmap first. We do not have a Chicago office. Work is delivered remotely with in-person meetings by arrangement, and it fits organizations of every size: a West Loop startup with a first product, a suburban distributor replacing a 15-year-old order system, or a department inside a bank, insurer or manufacturer that needs engineers who can work within its controls.

How we serve Chicago without a local office
Our only office is at 1201 N Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware, described on the Wilmington headquarters page. We have no office in the Loop, in Schaumburg or in Naperville, and we do not use a local mailbox or forwarding number to appear otherwise.
Chicago is on Central Time, one hour behind Wilmington. In practice that means our US team overlaps with your day from your morning through mid-afternoon, and we schedule stand-ups and reviews inside that window. Requests that come in later in your afternoon are picked up by the India team overnight and are usually ready for your morning. Direct flights from Philadelphia to O’Hare or Midway take about two hours, so a kickoff or a quarterly review at your office is an easy trip.
Between visits, delivery runs on video calls, a shared backlog, a weekly written status note and a demo at the end of each iteration. Architecture, project management and your point of contact stay in the US.
What Chicago organizations ask us for
Chicago’s economy is broad: exchanges and trading firms, banks and insurers, manufacturers and distributors across the suburbs, food processing, the country’s largest rail hub and the logistics built around it, professional services, health systems and universities. Many of these organizations run Microsoft-heavy IT departments, which shapes what they ask us for.
- Manufacturing and distribution: customer and dealer portals, EDI and ERP integration, warehouse and inventory tools, and modernization of .NET applications that run the business but no longer have an owner.
- Insurance and financial services: agent and policyholder portals, claims workflow, reporting automation and data warehouses with Power BI on top, built under audit and compliance constraints.
- Trading and market-adjacent firms: back-office and reporting tools, data pipelines and internal dashboards. We do not build trading engines; we build the systems around them.
- Transportation and logistics: shipment tracking, driver and yard apps that work offline, and integrations with carriers and customers.
- Health systems and practices: HIPAA-compliant applications and EHR integration over HL7 and FHIR. We build and run our HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform, DocVilla, so HIPAA is daily work for us.
- Professional services and nonprofits: websites connected to a CRM, intranets, and Microsoft 365 and Power Platform automation.
Chicago has plenty of local development shops. Clients choose us for capacity they cannot hire quickly, for a blended US and India cost structure, or for Microsoft depth their own team does not have.
Services for Chicago organizations
Every service we offer is available to Chicago clients on the same terms as anywhere else. The table maps common requests to the page that explains each.
| You need | What we deliver | Service page |
|---|---|---|
| A new or rebuilt website | Design, build, content migration, accessibility and maintenance after launch, on WordPress or a custom stack, with SEO for the sites we build | Website development |
| A mobile app | Native iOS and Android or cross-platform in React Native or Flutter, with the API behind it and store submission handled | Mobile app development |
| A web application or portal | Customer, partner or internal systems on .NET, Node.js or Java, connected to what you already run | Web application development |
| .NET and cloud work | New builds on current .NET, migration off .NET Framework, and moves to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud | .NET development |
| Data and AI | Pipelines, warehouses and Power BI dashboards; AI assistants, document processing and agents with governance built in | AI development |
| A plan before a build | An assessment, a technology roadmap and a written proposal for the first step | Technology consulting |
| Engineers for your team | Named developers, testers or DevOps engineers working inside your tools on a monthly basis, scaled up or down as needed | IT staffing |
Engagements run as a fixed-scope project, a dedicated team or staff augmentation on a monthly cadence, managed services under a defined SLA, or advisory work such as an assessment, a roadmap or a fractional CTO. A Chicago founder usually starts with the first; a department inside a larger organization often needs the second or third.
How we start
The first step is a first conversation. If it makes sense to continue, we run a short assessment: a look at your current systems, a conversation with the people who will use the result, and a written summary of options. Then we send a written proposal with a fixed-scope quote where the work can be defined up front, or a team proposal where it cannot. The engineering is the same for a solo founder and for a division of a large company; only the scope and the engagement model differ.

Frequently asked questions
Does PS3G have an office in Chicago?
No. Our headquarters and only office is at 1201 N Market Street, Suite 111, Wilmington, Delaware, and our delivery center is in India. We serve Chicago remotely and travel for kickoffs, workshops and reviews by arrangement, usually on a direct flight from Philadelphia. We do not use a virtual Chicago address or a local forwarding number.
Is PS3G a software development company in Chicago or a remote vendor?
A remote vendor, one hour ahead of you. The project lead and architect are in the US, the build team blends US and India engineers, and we hold stand-ups and reviews in the overlap between Central and Eastern business hours. In-person sessions are arranged when they are worth the trip, such as a discovery workshop or a go-live.
What does IT consulting for a Chicago company involve?
An assessment of the systems, vendors and risks you have today, a roadmap that sequences what to fix, replace or leave alone, and a written proposal for the first step. For a growing Chicago company that may be a technology roadmap; for an IT department, a modernization plan for a legacy application or a cloud migration assessment. You can act on the recommendation with us or without us.
Are you a web development company or an app development company in Chicago?
Both, and often for the same client. A Chicago organization frequently starts with a website, then asks for the customer portal behind it, then the mobile app that reaches the same users. One team handles web, mobile and the APIs they share, so the pieces are designed together and maintained together after launch.
How do you handle the one-hour time difference between Chicago and Wilmington?
We schedule recurring meetings from your morning through mid-afternoon, when both teams are at work, and we keep a written status note so nothing depends on catching someone live. Requests raised late in your afternoon go to the India team, which works through your night. For a dedicated team working inside your tools, engineers adjust their hours to match yours.
