Microsoft Technology Services

Microsoft technology services from PS3G: .NET and Azure engineering, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365.

Email hello@ps3g.com

PS3G provides Microsoft technology services for organizations of every size: engineering on .NET and Azure, SQL Server design and migration, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform work, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development, and preparation for Microsoft Copilot. One team covers the stack, so the Power Apps form, the SQL Server database behind it, the Azure function that syncs it to Dynamics 365 and the Power BI report on top are built by people who talk to each other. Whether you are a ten-person firm on Microsoft 365, a growing company with a SQL Server estate, or a department inside a larger organization with its own Azure subscription, the work is scoped to what you need.

Microsoft Technology Services - PS3G

One team across the Microsoft stack

Microsoft’s platform is broad, and most organizations end up with a patchwork of vendors: one for Dynamics, one for SharePoint, a .NET shop for custom code and a cloud firm for Azure. The gaps between them are where projects stall. We staff a single team with engineers certified on Microsoft technologies and on open-source alternatives, and we stay vendor-neutral. If the right answer is PostgreSQL rather than SQL Server, or a React front end rather than Power Apps, we will say so.

We are not a license reseller and we do not earn margin on what you buy. We advise on licensing because it shapes the architecture, and you purchase through whatever channel suits you.

What we cover

.NET

Custom applications, APIs and background services in C# on ASP.NET Core, Blazor and .NET MAUI, plus migration of .NET Framework systems. This is our largest Microsoft practice and has its own page: .NET development services.

Azure

Azure development services and infrastructure: App Service, Azure Functions, Container Apps, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, Entra ID and Application Insights. We set up landing zones, define infrastructure in Bicep or Terraform, build the pipelines, and keep an eye on the bill. The wider hosting picture, including AWS and Google Cloud, is on our cloud solutions page.

SQL Server

SQL Server consulting covers schema and index design, query tuning, high availability with Always On, backup and recovery, upgrades from older versions, and SQL Server migration to Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance. Where licensing cost outweighs the benefits, we also move databases to PostgreSQL.

Dynamics 365

Dynamics 365 consulting for Sales, Customer Service, Business Central, Finance and Supply Chain Management: configuration, Dataverse customization, integrations with .NET services and Azure Logic Apps, data migration and reporting. Our ERP solutions page covers Business Central and Finance implementations in more depth.

SharePoint and Microsoft 365

SharePoint development services: SharePoint Online sites, SPFx web parts, document libraries with metadata and retention rules, Teams apps and Microsoft Graph integrations. Microsoft 365 consulting: tenant configuration, Entra ID and conditional access, migration from on-premises SharePoint or file servers, and governance of sites, groups and sharing.

Power Platform

Power Platform consulting across Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate (cloud flows and desktop flows), Power Pages, Dataverse and Copilot Studio, with application lifecycle management through solutions and environments so the apps your staff build do not become unmanaged risk.

Copilot

Microsoft Copilot consulting: readiness assessment of permissions and oversharing, sensitivity labels and Microsoft Purview, a pilot with a defined group, Copilot Studio agents grounded in your own data, and the governance that goes with them. For agents built outside the Microsoft stack, see our AI agents and chatbots service.

Common projects

  • Power Apps replacing spreadsheets. An intake form, an approval chain and a tracking list that live in email and Excel become a model-driven app on Dataverse or a canvas app on SharePoint lists, with audit history and role-based access.
  • Power Automate workflows. Approvals, document routing, notifications and hand-offs between Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and third-party systems, with error handling and run history your administrators can read.
  • SharePoint intranets. Communication sites, hub navigation, document management with metadata, and SPFx web parts for the pieces the standard parts cannot do.
  • SQL Server upgrades and migrations. Assessment with Microsoft’s migration tooling, compatibility fixes, a tested cutover plan, and a move to Azure SQL when the numbers support it.
  • Copilot readiness. Finding and fixing oversharing before Copilot surfaces it, applying labels, and running a pilot with measurable goals.
  • Dynamics 365 integration. Connecting Business Central or Sales to e-commerce, logistics, payment and custom .NET systems through Dataverse, APIs and Azure messaging.
  • Reporting across all of it. Power BI models and dashboards on top of SQL Server, Dataverse and SharePoint data, through our Power BI consulting service.

Describe the problem you want solved and we will tell you which part of the stack fits.

Licensing-aware advice

Microsoft licensing decides more architecture than most teams expect. Whether a Power Apps solution needs per-app or per-user plans, whether data belongs in Dataverse or SQL Server, whether Power BI should run on per-user licenses or on a Fabric capacity, and whether a Copilot add-on is worth it for a given group: each of these changes the design and the running cost.

Because we do not resell, our advice is not tied to what earns a commission. We start from the licenses you already own, show what they already include, and tell you where an upgrade is needed and where it is not. We do not quote Microsoft prices on this site because they change; check Microsoft’s current licensing documentation or your reseller, and bring the numbers to us.

Engagement models

  • Fixed-scope project. A Power App, a SharePoint intranet, a SQL Server migration or a Copilot readiness assessment with a defined deliverable and quote.
  • Dedicated team or staff augmentation. Azure, .NET, Dynamics or Power Platform engineers inside your team on a monthly basis.
  • Managed services. We administer and support your Azure, SQL Server or Microsoft 365 environment under defined SLAs.
  • Advisory. Architecture reviews, licensing and roadmap advice, or a fractional CTO for the Microsoft estate.

How we start: a first conversation, a short assessment, a written proposal.

Why PS3G for Microsoft technology services

More than ten years on the Microsoft stack, with Microsoft-certified and open-source-certified engineers, a US headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware and an India delivery center for scale and round-the-clock coverage. We build and run our own products, including our HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform, DocVilla, which is built on ASP.NET MVC and runs in the cloud. We also run a testing center of excellence, so changes to a production SharePoint, Dynamics or SQL Server environment are tested before they reach your users.

Frequently asked questions

Do you resell Microsoft licenses?

No. PS3G is an independent engineering and consulting firm. We advise on which licenses a design needs and which you already own, and you buy through Microsoft directly or through the reseller you prefer. Keeping licensing revenue out of the relationship means our recommendation on Dataverse versus SQL Server, or per-user versus capacity licensing, is based on your architecture and budget, not on a margin.

Can Power Apps replace our spreadsheets?

Often, yes, when the spreadsheet is really a database with a form in front of it: a tracker, an intake process, an approval log. Power Apps on Dataverse or SharePoint gives you validation, roles, history and a mobile view. It is a poor fit for heavy calculation models and for anything with thousands of concurrent users. We assess each case and sometimes recommend a small .NET application instead.

Should we move SQL Server to Azure?

It depends on the workload, the licensing you hold and the applications attached to the database. Azure SQL Database suits newer applications and removes server management; SQL Managed Instance is closer to a full SQL Server and eases lift-and-shift; SQL Server on an Azure virtual machine keeps everything as is. We run an assessment with Microsoft’s migration tooling and give you a written recommendation with the trade-offs.

What does Microsoft Copilot readiness involve?

Copilot answers from whatever a user can already access, so the first step is a permissions and oversharing review across SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. Then sensitivity labels and retention through Microsoft Purview, a pilot group with specific tasks to measure, and usage guidelines. Licensing requirements for Copilot change, so we check Microsoft’s current documentation with you rather than quoting them here.

Do you work with Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Yes. Business Central is the Dynamics 365 ERP most growing companies land on, and we handle configuration, extensions written in AL, integrations with e-commerce, logistics and custom .NET systems, data migration from older accounting packages, and Power BI reporting on top. Larger organizations on Finance and Supply Chain Management get the same team with the same approach.

What if we are not fully on Microsoft?

Most of our clients are not. A typical environment mixes Microsoft 365 with a Google Cloud or AWS workload, a Salesforce CRM, open-source databases and a few SaaS tools. Our engineers are certified on Microsoft and open-source technologies, so we design for the environment you have and integrate across it rather than pushing everything onto one vendor.
