Website Development Services
Website Development Services
Website development services from PS3G: custom website design and development on WordPress, .NET or modern JavaScript, built fast, secure and easy to update.
PS3G’s website development services cover the whole job: planning, content structure, design, build, testing, launch and the maintenance that follows. We build on WordPress, on .NET, or on a modern JavaScript stack such as Next.js, and we pick the platform only after we understand what the site has to do. The work is scoped to your organization, whether you are a founder who needs a credible first site, a marketing lead replacing a site that stopped converting, or an IT director who needs a corporate site that fits security and procurement rules. The result is a site that loads fast, ranks for the searches that matter to you, and can be updated by your own team without a developer on call.

A website that does a job, for any size of organization
Every site we build starts with one question: what is this site for? Generating inquiries, selling products, serving members, recruiting staff, explaining a complex service, or supporting a sales team. The answer shapes the structure, the content, the platform and the budget, so we write it down before anyone opens a design tool.
The engineering is the same at every size; the engagement is scoped differently. A founder usually wants a fixed-scope first version with a handful of pages and a clear path to add more. A growing company with a marketing team wants a design system, reusable page templates and a CMS the team can run on its own. A department inside a larger organization often needs us to work within brand guidelines, single sign-on, an existing hosting contract and a procurement process.
We work from our headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, serve clients across the New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York region, and work with organizations nationally. If you are looking for a web development company near you in the Mid-Atlantic, we can meet in person; if you are elsewhere in the United States, the process is the same over video. Our India delivery center extends working hours for larger builds and for support after launch.
What our website development services cover
We design and develop the site types below, and most projects combine two or more of them.
Corporate and brand sites
The main site for a company, practice, nonprofit or agency: services, about, team, careers, news and contact. Built on a design system so new pages match the old ones, with templates for the page types your team adds most often.
Lead-generation sites
Sites whose measure of success is inquiries: service pages written around what people search for, location pages where you serve specific areas, calls to action that do not interrupt reading, forms that post to your CRM, and analytics that show which pages produce the leads.
E-commerce
Online stores on WooCommerce, Shopify or a custom .NET or Node.js build, with payments, tax, shipping and inventory connected to the systems you already run. Our ecommerce website development services cover B2C, B2B and marketplace models.
Portals and member sites
Sites with a login: customer portals, member directories, resource libraries, training content and partner areas. When the logged-in part becomes the product, the work moves toward web application development or an enterprise web portal, and we scope it that way from the start.
Multilingual sites
Sites that serve more than one language or region, with translation workflows, hreflang tags, locale-aware URLs and content that is managed per language without duplicating the whole site.
Landing-page systems
Reusable landing-page templates for campaigns, with tracking parameters, A/B variants and forms wired to your marketing automation, so each new campaign page is a content task rather than a development task.
Design and development process
A website project is a content project, a design project and a software project at the same time. We run the three on one plan so content is never the thing holding up launch.
- Discovery. We interview the people who own the site’s goals, review analytics and search data, list the integrations (CRM, forms, payments, booking, email) and agree the measure of success. Deliverable: a written scope with page inventory, integrations and acceptance criteria.
- Content and structure. Sitemap, URL plan, page outlines, keyword mapping and a content schedule that says who writes what by when. If the current site has pages that rank, we map every old URL to a new one before design starts.
- Design. Wireframes for the key page types, then visual design in Figma with a component library: typography, color, buttons, cards, forms and navigation. You review on desktop and mobile before anything is coded.
- Build. Theme or front end, CMS configuration, templates and blocks, integrations, forms, search, analytics and tag management. The code lives in a Git repository from day one, and you own it.
- QA. Our testing team checks every template across browsers and devices, runs accessibility and performance audits, tests forms and integrations end to end, and validates the redirect map.
- Launch. DNS and TLS, redirects switched on, XML sitemap submitted, Search Console and analytics verified, monitoring in place. We launch at a time your team chooses and stay on call.
- 30-day hypercare. After launch we watch crawl errors, Core Web Vitals, form submissions and rankings, fix whatever surfaces, and train your editors on the CMS.

Platforms and stacks, and how we choose
We are not tied to one platform. The right choice depends on who will update the site, what it must connect to, how much traffic it will carry and what your team already knows.
| Platform | Best fit | Typical stack | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Marketing sites, blogs, lead-generation sites, smaller stores, sites a non-technical team edits daily | Custom or block theme, Gutenberg or Elementor, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, managed hosting | Needs disciplined plugin choices and a maintenance plan |
| Headless (Next.js and a CMS) | Content-heavy sites with high traffic, several front ends or strict performance targets | Next.js or React, WordPress in headless mode or another headless CMS, hosted on Vercel, Azure or AWS | Two systems to maintain; editors lose some live preview unless it is configured |
| .NET | Organizations standardized on Microsoft, sites that share data and sign-on with internal systems | ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages or Blazor, SQL Server, Azure App Service, Entra ID for sign-on | Fewer off-the-shelf marketing plugins; content tooling is built or bought |
| Custom | Sites that are really applications: calculators, configurators, booking engines, dashboards | Node.js or Python back end, React or Angular front end, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, cloud hosting | Most flexibility; everything is deliberate, including the editing experience |
Most organizations choosing their first or second professional site land on WordPress, and our WordPress development services cover custom themes, blocks, WooCommerce and migrations. When the site has to behave like software, we build it as software and say so in the proposal.
Performance, accessibility, SEO and security built in
These four are requirements in our scope, not add-ons priced later.
- Performance. We build against Core Web Vitals: optimized, lazily loaded images in modern formats, minimal third-party scripts, server and browser caching, a CDN, and templates measured with Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights before launch.
- Accessibility. WCAG 2.2 AA is the working target: semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, color contrast, labeled forms, alt text and captions. We test with a screen reader, not only an automated checker.
- SEO. Clean URL structure, one H1 per page, title tags and meta descriptions, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects for every retired URL, and analytics with Search Console connected. Responsive website development is the default; there is no separate mobile site to maintain.
- Security. HTTPS everywhere, security headers, least-privilege admin accounts with two-factor sign-in, spam protection on forms, a web application firewall where the host supports it, scheduled backups and a patching routine that continues after launch.
After launch: maintenance, hosting guidance, redesigns
A site starts aging the day it goes live: CMS and plugin updates, PHP and framework versions, certificate renewals, new browser behavior and new content. Our website maintenance and support plans cover updates, security patching, backups, uptime monitoring, performance checks and a monthly allowance for small changes, so you have one place to send requests.
On hosting, we recommend rather than resell. For WordPress that usually means a managed WordPress host; for .NET it usually means Azure App Service; for headless builds it is often Vercel or a static host in front of the CMS. We set it up in your account, so you own the hosting relationship and the bill.
When the site has outgrown its structure rather than its software, a redesign is the answer. Our website redesign service protects the rankings and links you already have while replacing what no longer works. Clients who later need software beyond the site continue with our mobile app development and custom software development and maintenance teams.
Engagement models and how we start
- Fixed-scope project. A defined site, a defined price and a defined acceptance test. The usual choice for a new site or a redesign.
- Dedicated team or staff augmentation. Designers and developers working with your marketing or product team month to month, scaled up or down as the roadmap changes.
- Managed services. We run the site under defined SLAs: hosting coordination, updates, monitoring, fixes and enhancements.
- Advisory. A platform assessment, a content and SEO audit, or a second opinion on a proposal from another vendor.
How we start: a first conversation to understand the job the site has to do, a short assessment of your current site and systems, and a written proposal with scope, deliverables and a fixed price. There is no minimum-budget conversation first.
Why PS3G
We have been building and running software for more than a decade, from our headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware and our delivery center in India. We build and operate our own products, including our HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform, DocVilla, used by medical practices across multiple states, and our kids’ learning app, EasyLearning4Kids, with 5-star ratings on the App Store and Google Play. Running our own public sites and products means we live with the consequences of performance, security and maintenance decisions, which is why those are built into every website we deliver. Our engineers hold Microsoft and open-source certifications, and a testing center of excellence checks the work before you see it.

Frequently asked questions
How much do website development services cost?
It depends on the number of page templates, the amount of content to write or migrate, the integrations (CRM, payments, booking), the platform, and whether a design system already exists. We quote fixed-scope projects after a short discovery call, and the proposal lists exactly what is included. Our guide to website development cost explains the drivers so you can compare quotes on the same basis.
How long does it take to build a website?
Content is usually the longest pole, not design or code. A site with a handful of templates and ready content moves quickly; a multilingual site with migrations and integrations takes longer. The written proposal includes a schedule by phase, with the dates that depend on your team’s reviews and content marked clearly, so there is no confusion about what sits with whom.
Should I choose WordPress or a custom website?
Choose WordPress when a non-technical team will edit the site often and the needs are mostly content, forms and a store. Choose .NET, headless or a custom build when the site must share sign-on and data with internal systems, carry very high traffic, or behave like an application. We recommend one in the proposal, explain why, and build either.
Do you offer small business website development services?
Yes, and the same team builds for larger organizations. A small business typically wants a fixed-scope site with a clear price, a CMS it can run on its own and a maintenance plan sized to its needs. We scope to what you need now and design the structure so pages, languages or a store can be added later without a rebuild.
Will the site work on phones and meet accessibility standards?
Every site we deliver is responsive, designed and tested at phone, tablet and desktop sizes, and built to WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target. That covers keyboard navigation, color contrast, labeled forms, alt text and screen-reader testing. Accessibility is part of our QA checklist rather than a separate purchase, and we document what was tested so you can show it if asked.
Can you take over a website another company built?
Yes. We start with an audit of the code, hosting, plugins, security and analytics, fix what is urgent, and then either maintain the site as it is or plan a redesign if the structure is the problem. You keep your domain, hosting and content throughout. This is a common starting point when the original developer has moved on.
